During the month of December, the school hosted a Door Design Challenge. We decided to incorporate our electricity learning into our doors. I had the students brainstorm and vote on their favourite ideas. In small groups, they designed exactly what they wanted the door to look like. We combined all of the ideas and then the students were put in small groups to each create and build their assigned part in the overall door design. The reindeer door actually has a copper circuit on the back, lighting all of the small lights throughout the door. The students were so proud of their work and they looked amazing!
